What is Journaling?
Historically journaling has been the practice of humans putting pen to paper in an effort to document their thoughts, emotions, or circumstances. What makes journaling so unique is you can honestly ‘journal’ about anything: from gardening and weather journals to forgiveness and trauma healing journals and much more in between. Journaling truly is yours to craft in whatever way works best for you. Pen to paper has long been the preferred method (and I still advocate for this style) for many cathartic reasons, however with the advent of technology there really is no one best way to journal. Honestly the best way is the way that works for You. You can video journal, voice note journal, photo journal, location journal, use an app or a tablet, or an ‘old fashioned’ paper journal with a fancy pen.

In the end Journaling is about creating a better relationship with the circumstances life throws at us everyday. I believe Journaling is a master key to unlock and unscramble our own personal life code, to better figure out the puzzle that is us, how each of us uniquely define and live a life worth living.
